PanStreet and Zebra in the Valley of the Kings

The development process of „Ramesses III. – Publication and Conservation Project“ began in 2011. In 2017, the concession for this project was granted by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. The project focuses on the preservation, documentation and publication of the tomb of King Ramesses III. The project is institutionally supervised by the Humboldt-Universität in Berlin, in cooperation with the Egyptian universities of Luxor and Qena.

The company Zebra, a manufacturer of mobile handheld computers, has just provided the terminals for excavation for this project.  For implementing this work, Zebra needed a project partner handling the service. In this context, the company Zebra had the idea to take its business partner PanStreet International as a project partner on board. PanStreet International based in Meerbusch in the German Federal State of North-Rhine Westphalia has just won the „ZEBRA Innovation Award 2022“. In the framework of this project, PanStreet International purchases and provides the hardware, this means the devices, and it is entrusted with the service and warranty handling.  Zebra is sponsoring the devices in this project and PanStreet International is sponsoring the service.

Multiple application options of PanStreet Traffic Monitoring System

PanStreet International belonging to the Schweers group has an excellent reputation because of its company software Politess® Mobile. It is primarily used for the detection of parking violations and for the recording of general offences.

Due to the possibility of the integration of GPS data determination PanStreet International was in the position to develop a new app for the Düsseldorf carnival procession on 20 February 2023. By means of this app an active mobile device could regularly send GPS data about the course of the procession, as well as images created directly on the mobile device, automatically to the central organization office of the carnival procession in Düsseldorf. This project was very successful. There are, thus, manifold options for the application of the software Politess® Mobile for Android & iOS from the company PanStreet International including event and traffic flow monitoring.  In this way, the software makes a considerable contribution to counteracting or averting a traffic collapse, especially in conurbations.

Minister of Finance and Environment visits project of Schweers and EasyMile in Meerbusch-Büderich

The Areal Böhler owned by the company voestalpine in Meerbusch-Büderich is an industrial park for fairs, exhibitions and other events with a clear focus on the promotion of innovative business ideas. The location offers excellent conditions for start-ups to present themselves and, thus, achieving a value added for their companies. The Areal Böhler is open to new technologies as well as ecological and sustainable business approaches.

For a company giving priority to innovation, sustainability and technological progress like the company Schweers/PanStreet in Meerbusch-Osterath the importance of the long-standing co-operation with the Areal Böhler is not to be underestimated. Being on the pulse of time, Schweers/PanStreet has just started a pilot project in the field of innovative mobility technologies with the company EasyMile at the Areal Böhler. An autonomous electric bus of the company EasyMile is now driving at the site of the industrial park and offers a shuttle service between the exhibition halls for visitors.

On 19 April 2022 the Minster for Finance and Environment of the German federal state of North-Rhine-Westphalia Lutz Lienenkämper visited the Areal Böhler. The pilot project attracted his great interest, because it fits very well with the ideas of the federal government of North-Rhine-Westphalia giving technological progress, the promotion of the power of innovation of the enterprises in North-Rhine-Westphalia and sustainability highest priority on its political agenda. Lutz Lienenkämper did not miss the opportunity to drive with the electric autonomous bus. It was a very pleasant driving experience for him. "Based on the biography of Minister Lienenkämper, who has already been Minister of Transport in North Rhine-Westphalia, I am particularly pleased that he is very familiar with the field of innovative mobility technologies. We succeeded very well in demonstrating to Lutz Lienenkämper the synergy effects of the co-operation between Schweers and the Areal Böhler," emphasized Michael Schweers, Owner and Managing Director of Schweers/PanStreet.

Intertraffic 2022 in Amsterdam

Intertraffic 2022 – Schweers Group's Optimistic View into the Future

Very Successful despite Pandemic: PanStreet International/Schweers Group Attracts the Attention of Fair Visitors

The scenario was not different from the situation before the pandemic – the fair visitors did not wear any masks, there were no strict safety rules, people greeted each other with handshake. Quite a few visitors from abroad were probably astonished in view of the situation at the Intertraffic 2022 in Amsterdam. In 2020, the Intertraffic was cancelled due to Covid-19 and the whole world was in a depressed mood. Now, we had exactly the opposite situation at the Intertraffic 2022 which took place from 29 March to 1 April. The returned enthusiasm of the exhibitors and visitors was clearly noticeable. 50 years Intertraffic – this anniversary contributed in particular to the optimism at the world’s leading trade fair dealing with the full range of products and services in the mobility sector.

The company PanStreet Int’l/Schweers Group stands especially for this optimism. It is due to the strong team spirit and motivation that the Schweers group mastered the pandemic successfully. The PanStreet Int’l/Schweers team was in the position to convince the fair visitors of the fact that it continues to be extraordinarily ambitious to provide state-of-the-art digital solutions as well as to guarantee innovative and sustainable product development.
